Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the questions we hear most from REC+ families.
Tap any Register button on this page — it's a quick online signup, around five minutes. A confirmation email follows with your uniform order link.
Now that you've registered, if you're new to the program and don't already have a jersey, you'll receive an automatic email to the address on file with uniform-ordering information. You can also find this on the Home page or your individual location pages. As the registration window closes and we get about a week out from the season, the program director will reach out with updates — and so will your coach for the season.
Yes — until teams are finalized, you can switch locations. If other locations are sold out, you'll need to stay at your current campus or take a refund. To reach the director, email c.maret@floridapremierfc.com.
We allow players to move up two years. Players cannot be moved down an age group. For these requests, please contact the director, Corey Maret, at c.maret@floridapremierfc.com.
Yes — $10 off each player when they sign up together. The discount won't apply if you register at separate times, so if a child decides to play afterward, just reach out to the director, Corey Maret, at c.maret@floridapremierfc.com.
We run U8, U10, U12, U14 and HS age groups.
Purely recreational — no tryouts, no travel, no pressure. The focus is fun, skill-building, and confidence, which makes it ideal for beginners or anyone who wants to play without the competitive intensity.
We provide the coaches for every team — they're coaches from our competitive program. We do not use volunteers.
Yes — all age groups are coed. We always pair females (two or more) on a team and never have a girl play alone.
We place females onto teams in pairs or more first. Next, we keep siblings together to make things easier for parents. Finally, we split the remaining players evenly by age to keep every team as balanced as possible.
Jerseys are required; shorts and socks are optional add-ons. The kit runs about $50, is sold on its own (not part of registration), and lasts through Summer 2027 — one purchase covers all four seasons.
Cleats, shin guards, their uniform, and a ball for the training portion — and make sure PlayMetrics is installed before the first session.
Yes — the free PlayMetrics app on iOS and Android. Your roster, schedule, and all coach communication live there for the whole season, so grab it right after you register.
About a week before the season begins, you'll be notified that your child has been rostered. You'll then be able to see their team, roster, and schedule, including field numbers. The director sends every location its individual field layout, so you'll know exactly where to go at your park.
The first rainout isn't made up. Any rainout after that, we do make up. Always plan to play unless you're notified by the director through PlayMetrics.
